Reflection Essay - 902 Words
My eyes are transfixed by the numbers, equations, and words on the pageââ¬âa beautiful work of artââ¬â they emanate before me with a brilliant radiance. I am relentlessly compelled to turn the page. Whether I am studying the orbital motion of celestial objects, calculating the work required to move electric charges, analyzing the static equilibrium of a complex system, determining the motion of fluids using Archimedesââ¬â¢s and Bernoulliââ¬â¢s principles, or deriving a differential equation for the motion of a box present under air friction, I am always thinking, my mind always moving, imbued with an electric excitement that provokes me to new and unknown terrains of knowledge. I struggle to close the textbook and delve into another intellectualâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦It is my awareness and willingness to embrace any level of challenge that awakens my inner drive for more and pushes me to stretch my mind to think beyond the content of the textbook. My mind is enr iched and motivated by the intellectual challenges physics continues to address in the modern era. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and when I find that my intellectual curiosity for physics is not satisfied, I take advantage of the many resources available to me. I often enjoy delving into discussions with my uncles who are scholars in atomic physics, artificial intelligence, computer science, and mathematics. I can recall, for example, a fascinating conversation with one of my uncles in the past year, in which he commented on a specific mechanism of nanotechnology and its applications in warfare. I find such interactions immensely inspiring. I appreciate my unclesââ¬â¢ dedication and commitment to their fields of study, and I eagerly embrace their sharing of knowledge as a valuable learning opportunity for me.
